Breakfast with Bassets is the first Saturday of every month at the Park Bench Cafe in Huntington Beach (17732 Goldenwest, just south of Slater) at 9:00 a.m. Delicious menu items available for both pups and their people. 8th Annual Garage Sale July 12, 2008 from 8 AM till 12:00 PM, BHRSC will be having their 8th Annual garage sale at the home of Vic and Carol Dennis in Long Beach. Spring Games Sunday May 18th 2008, Spring Games will be at Arcadia Park - Fountain Area on Sunday May 18th. (this is the same area we have hosted the past several years). 5th Annual Howloween Costume Contest Saturday October 4th 2008 at Breakfast with Basset's. Come show your frightful costumes to our judges and win a little something for you hound if you dare! Doo Dah Parade 2008 Sunday (date not set) will be the Annual Doo Dah Parade in Pasadena California. For what it is past info and photos click here!!! Pictures with Santa Saturday December 6th 2008, BHRSC will be having their Pictures with Santa Paws and Christmas Raffle. So bring your Bassets, Kids, Family or other pets to have your digital photo taken with Santa. We will be printing photos at the site for this event. Plus giving you a 4x6 magnetic frame for your photo. All we ask is a cash or check donation to the Basset Hound Rescue. Tax receipts for donations will be available upon request. As always your money goes to pay for medical bills, room & board for those Bassets that need out help. So dress up your pets, family, we don’t care and come and join the fun on December 1st.
It is recommended that dogs under
the age of 6 months have all their shots if attending Breakfast with
Basset's
or any other event or park where
other animals may congregate. This is because dog parks can carry disease.
None of our happy hound owners want
to see any of our beloved Basset's come down with a fatal disease.
That is why BHRSC wants to protect
every Basset we know and even the ones we have not met yet!
