Hi! My name is Humphrey and I am 8-9 years old. I am a great companion looking for a forever home to live out the rest of my days on my bed and wander the back yard for those great Basset smells. I am a little hard of hearing, or maybe I just choose to hear what I want, “Snack”, “Treat” and “Cookie” I always hear. I am taking a few medications right now, but I promise I will not be a bother, I am just a laid back senior looking for LOVE! I adore humans but would probably be best in a mature home, fore I have low energy and mostly want to snuggle. Adopting an older dog like me is very rewarding as most of us are housebroken, low energy, low demand and enjoy sleeping in and cuddling on the sofa. You don't have to walk us forever to satisfy our need to exercise, mostly from the sofa to the food bowl to the yard and an occasional stroll around the block and we are good to go. We will look at you with eyes that say thank you and give you unconditional love as long as we are here on earth!
