Lucy Jones

Hello? My name is Lucy Jones, and before I met the most wonderful family in the World. I lived with a few families that didn't love me as much. When I arrived at the large house, I was greeted with lots of hugs and kisses from my new family. At first I was really shy and nervous, but within a week I learned that this was the family for me. The Jones' also have a number of other dogs for me to play with, Sammie and Indiana are Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Gus is a dachshund and Bamaby is a fellow Basset. Every morning we go on walks and smell all the wonderful things there are to smell. Sammie is a sweet girl with a good heart, but she can be kind of grumpy at times but she shows me all the good smelling places. Indiana is the sweetest boy in the world, who's really fun to play with. Gus is a strange little boy, he's really tiny, and has these toy stomachs that daddy gets from work, that he protects like the hope diamond. My stay here wasn't always so much fun. After a few days mommy found a bump on my hip which ended up to be an infected bubble and now I have a bald spot. That was really scary, I had to spend a few hours with the vet, but thank God mommy and Tegan came back to get me. I had to wear one of those Elizabethan collars, which Mommy decorated for me. On the good side, I have a really big backyard to play in and I get to sleep on the nice leather couches provided, I'm good. Tegan lets me sleep on her extremely comfortable bed.

Now for the humans. Daddy is a really nice man, he's a doctor, who works long hours. Mommy is a seamstress who works at home. She's really crafty. Tegan is my special friend, I get to sleep in her (extremely pink) room, and we love to cuddle. Colin is a nice boy and he will be leaving for basic training for the Air Force in November, I will miss him a lot when he leaves. Sara is my biggest sister who lives in Reseda with Barnaby. But I get to see her almost every weekend. In other words, I'm really happy to live here with these people and, I'm glad they had enough room in their house and their hearts for me to come live with them, and I love them very much.
