To our friends at BHRSC.

 

We are very excited to update you on our mutual friend. We adopted Pillsbury in early 2005, and are very pleased to report the he is doing great. He has adopted a very large family, and has adjusted to them nicely. He and his best friend "Hamilton" take very good care of one another, it is if they have always had one another. Hamilton has been with us as a puppy and we have loved every minute of it however rescuing Pillsbury as been an experience that our family will never forget. Understanding Pillsbury's history and knowing that he will never again suffer like that again brings joy to everyone.

 

As You know Pillsbury had been down a very rough road before catching up with BHRSC and our family, however he has persevered and has brought our entire family lots of joy, not to mention lots of laughs.

 

Several months ago he had a large tumor removed from his side and we were a bit worried but as usually with a little medical attention and lots and lots of love he is doing better than ever. He of course "steels the show" wherever he goes.
